On WTF: Colin (2008)

A much hyped British zombie film, shot on digital for lunch money. Can't be any good, right? Surprisingly,

I found myself falling in love with the film, as my rather long-winded and overexcited piece on WTF-Film shows.

I'm happy that it's doing well. It showed at the Welsh horror festival Abertoir last year and it was far too long then - I think the director took that on board and has edited it down to make it snappier. I'm a little jaded with zombie films, but this was an interesting take on the theme.

Honestly, who isn't jaded with zombie films? It's the overwhelming number of films which are basically identical in the sub-genre that gets to me.

This version of Colin is 97 minutes or so long - felt just about right to me this way.
